Asparagus Plumosus Nana

Who am I?
Hello, my name is Asparagus Plumosus Nana, but I am also known as the Asparagus Plant or Fern. My family consists of several hundred species; Not all of us are suitable as houseplants, but I am! My leaf is very small and soft and I have a very airy appearance!

Where do I come from?
My origins are in South America, Central Africa and Southeast Asia. Despite my tropical origin, I love the colder Dutch weather, I feel completely at home here!

How big will I get?
I am a fast growing species and can grow up to 1.5 meters high!

How much do I want to drink?
My soil should always be slightly moist, without a layer of water at the bottom of my pot. When I don’t get enough water, I lose my fresh green color, I hang and I even turn brown. However, I can take a beating so don’t give up right away! Pay particular attention that this does not happen and otherwise please water quickly.

Where do I want to be and what temperatures do I like?
In my natural habitat I grow on the bottom in the shade of other trees and plants. In my natural habitat I grow on the bottom in the shade of other trees and plants. I can tolerate quite cool temperatures, but I like no colder than 10 degrees.
